☀️ @MayorofHackney and @MeteCoban92 paid a visit to @CometCentre, where we're funding Home Energy Action Lab to help Comet assess how they could reduce bills and energy use.

⚡️ Our @hackneypower community energy fund has awarded its first round of funding to help local landmarks generate clean power.
@HackneyEmpire, @mildmayclub and @ParkwoodPrimary will all install new solar panels, supported by @stokeyenergy, @CREWEnergyLDN and HEAL.

🏘️ As part of the rollout, every street and housing estate will be served by an EV charging point.
The new chargers will be mounted on lampposts or on the street in parking bays and there’ll be a discount for local residents through @HackneyPower.
