Hey so for those that had a problem with this, lo and behold Bill might have heard something

Many thoughts:
1. Bill is super plugged in with owners and the rumor has been that the Washington owner wants Dybantsa, it’s why I think he just says the Wizards take Dybantsa and he doesn’t even talk about it.
2. Boozer at 2 talk is interesting, Bill is more plugged in than people realize. It’s either he’s heard something that makes him think Boozer, (which scares me cause I like Peterson haha). That said, Bill has also been super against the Peterson stuff and it might be why he’s out on him. It’s also funny when Mann talks about Peterson being the best and Bill kind of shuts it down. There’s definitely some groupthink over at the Ringer sometimes. So with that I think I lean that Bill just doesn’t like Peterson? x.com/JazzNationNews/status/…

On today's NBA Today they talked about Peterson not working out for the Jazz and @ramonashelburne shared her thoughts:
"I don't think it's as big a deal as you might think. He met with the Jazz at the combine, they had a good conversation and interview, they looked at his medicals, everybody feels okay about that. I think this is more a statement from Darryn Peterson saying, 'I want to go number one. That's my goal.'... But I think he doesn't get past the Jazz at two regardless of whether he goes there (to workout) or not... It's not a statement against the Jazz, it's more a statement that I want to go number one."

-The Jazz value Walker Kessler and intend to keep him.
-They have an offer 5 yrs, almost $140M, but Kessler's camp is looking for significantly more
-Offer sheets are risky for most teams. Could see S&T, but that is tricky
-Restricted free agency is a tool for teams, and the Jazz are really using it to negotiate
-Asked if he thinks Kessler wants to play for the Jazz, says yes, but for a lot more $ than is being offered
-Utah has not decided between AJ, DP, CB
-the Kessler situation is not connected with Utah taking Boozer
-Peterson wants to be #1 more than not being in Utah. His decision has no impact on the Jazz taking him
-He wagers against Keyonte George getting an extension before the season. They love Key, but it might make sense to wait one more season
-If DP goes #1, Tim thinks the Jazz take AJ
-Insightful comments about perceptions of Utah and the Jazz organization by players and agents. Hard to summarize

- There is no sense of not wanting Utah or specifically wanting Memphis.
-The reason for the cancelled workout was that they are confident that he won’t be on the board at #2.

“The irony of Peterson’s camp revealing his preference for the Wizards is that Utah is the cleanest fit for him of the three teams at the top of the draft. The Jazz see him as a shooting guard who can play point guard. Behind the scenes, there is some concern on Peterson’s side that he and Jazz point guard Keyonte George share the same agency. Betting lines don't mean anything FYI. Was taught by someone who works for a major gambling company in college that sometimes odds will be shifted if they aren't getting a ton of bets in. Doesn't always mean some new info came out.
