FIR has been lodged against the passenger under 147, 145 and 146 of Railways Act.
We will be escalating the case with GRP as well since the act involves giving dire threats.
He is a young staff who is a bit scared right now and we are giving him all the support that he needs.
We will be writing to all the authorities to counsell all their employees to not travel without ticket, as it becomes a nuisance for our valid long distance passengers.
Thank you to all the media and Social Media handles for showing the true side of the incident this time.
Often, we recieve fake complaints from such habitual without ticket passengers against our TTe, many a times these people send half videos showing one side of the incident.
Often media also publicizes against TTe without ascertaining all the facts and many innocent TTe have to face the backlash. This also needs to be checked by all.
But this time, the TTe himself shot the video which clearly showed he was a victim, we could nab the offender.
The TTe had no intention to make the video viral. He just shot to save himself from false accusations.
The passenger and her father had made similar scenes in multiple previous occasions as well.
Imagine being a government school teacher, travelling daily in AC class without a ticket, and when the TTE asks for it, instead of showing one, you accuse him of molestation.
Can’t buy a ₹10 ticket but carry the attitude of the President of India. 🤦🏻♂️ These are the very people entrusted with shaping the nation’s future.
Kudos to the TTE staff for handling the situation firmly, it’s because of individuals like these that India and Indians are abused globally.
