Historical turnout numbers. 2021 turnout ended up at 942,031. The raw vote total today *could* pass 1989, but we're not getting anywhere near that percentage. 51% came out to help Dinkins unseat Koch!

Let’s be clear: @LincolnRestler never called for modifying or removing the protected bike lane on Bedford Ave. But when the people speak, we listen — with or without their councilman’s support. That’s why I was in Williamsburg last week, hearing directly from the community.
We’re reviewing the proposals brought forward by local residents and will have an update soon.

Another scary crash on Bedford Avenue — I hope the child is okay and recovers fully and quickly.
It is imperative that NYC DOT moves with urgency to install safety enhancements that are tailored to meet the needs of our community and protect the safety of children.
