Bad Policies Hurt People
Utahns in CD3 deserve a representative who will NEVER vote for these harmful policies.
I would never vote to fund abortion, pediatric gender-affirming care, DEI mandates, or the “kill switch.”
I would never protect the congressional hush-money slush fund or give pesticide makers immunity from the harm their products cause.
And I would never support warrantless surveillance on Americans.
Bad policies hurt people.
That’s why I’m running, to fight for you every single day. I live here, I work here, and I have real skin in the game; my family, my business, and our shared future in Utah.
No D.C. insiders. No special-interest money. Just a fighter who puts Utah families first.
Celeste gets low scores from conservative groups. I don't like the direction she is taking the Republican party. This is my summary of 5 of her votes.
1. Her vote to fund abortion, DIE, and pediatric gender affirming care, and many other measures added by senate democrats in to the appropriations bill. She could have voted with other republicans to support the Norman Amendment.
2. The Kill Switch. She voted with 57 Republicans and all 268 Democrats to fund Kill Switch research - also agains the amendment to remove funding for the Kill Switch.
3. She voted to move Nancy Mace's HR 1100 to the ethics committee rather than to support the resolution which would have disclosed the member of congress who have used taxpayer funds from the "slush fund" to silence victims. That fund was created for that exact purpose (yes, it is a real thing).
4. She voted against the amendment to remove legal immunity from Bayer and Syngenta - the manufacturer of pesticides using glyphosate. The farm bill was a good bill, this amendment made it so much better. The bill passed, despite Celeste voting against it - one of only 6 republicans to do so.
5. FISA - Maloy voted for the bill even though the amendment to require warrants to surveil Americans failed to pass.
I also touch on the Trump endorsement that was given to all republican incumbents in 2025 before this race was even official. The other candidates for congress opted to minimize that endorsement for ethical reasons. Not Celeste, you have probably received a dozen mailers touting it, and with her $870,000 from the Chris Stewart Pack funded by Anthropic AI, you will see a whole lot more. Maybe that is why she is also pro data center regardless of transparency.
