When I onboarded
@getty_hill and
@yesimeddy it was evident the type of people they wanted to hire, the process they wanted to run, and what they were listening for from applicants.
Instead of using DMs or Bulky ATSs to read resumes that haven't been updated and linkedins that are outdated, Eddy was able to enjoy his bowl fruit (specifically grapes 🍇), while listening to applicants stories like a podcast. He listened for curiosity 🤔, passion for web3 and coding ♥️, grit ⛓️, drive 🏎️ creativity 🎨...things that mattered to the job and culture at GFX Labs.
On the candidate side, they were finally able to be HUMAN in the process, controlled the narrative, and provided the much needed context for the team to take action on.
Also, fun fact, connected with some of the candidates that got hired...and the sentiment is all the same. THEY 👏 LOVE 👏 THIS 👏 FORMAT 👏 (see image).
I think by this point you know the results. Eddy and Getty were able to interview and hire the right people just in time for that offsite that they just finished up :)
