Was looking for a designer to make a new website for @puma_ai and decided to try latest vibecoding options so played around with @antigravity and Codex from @OpenAI. Guess which one is which:

what if Anthropic benchmarked the demand, was about to run out of capacity and instead of going down decided to pull this play to provision extra $10b/month of datacenters?

Replying to @OpenAI
For the next two weeks, Plus and Pro users can invite up to three friends to try Codex. When a friend sends their first Codex message, you’ll both get another banked reset.

there’s only two ways to make money with AI: 1. Sell a ton of GPUs 2. Buy a ton of GPUs

um.. strange analogy – tandem bike doesn't have a steering wheel and one set of handlebars is fake so riding it with AI while both steering is ... strange?

Mira Murati says frontier AI should be built like a tandem bike: "Having humans in the loop doesn't quite describe it because it sounds like a checkpoint where we're signing off something, and then you're good to go." "It's more like creating systems that are not just autonomously advancing and leaving civilization behind, but are more like a tandem bike." "When you're going up a hill, maybe whoever is stronger is pedaling harder. But both hands are on the wheel. That's quite important because that's a different system. It's a system designed for collaboration." "It will increase the level of agency that people have, and also it will help us steer the research direction towards creating outputs that are more value-aligned." @miramurati at Bloomberg Tech live with @emilychangtv

maybe e-bike / pedal assist is a better analogy? you as a human pick the route and AI assists in climbing the hills?

having done some sailing, tacking is such a better term for startups. even better is jibe – as @ivanburazin said, startups are already hard – sail with a tailwind not headwind if you can
a lot of very successful companies look like a series of pivots (tacking?) in a general direction

this is funny because Anthropic employees only ride Waymos
BREAKING: Uber engineers now required to earn Claude Code credits by driving Anthropic employees.

nobody ever goes there anymore – it's too crowded
Only missed out on these tiny startups: - Anthropic - Cursor - Perplexity - Sierra - Cognition - Mercor - Harvey - Supabase

Just wrote a draft of a poem I might add to Book 3 of spacesleftblank.com Arya at a Braavosi play I woke up in a Rick and Morty episode, a portal opens between the pages of these poems and the pages of scrolling posts discovered a subculture with its own fanfiction lore about … me?

2019 16" macbook pro was peak shape this with m5 max would be so clutch
The touchbar was too early and didn't deserve to die, it deserved an LLM. Static shortcut buttons were the wrong bet. Imagine buttons that rewrite themselves based on whatever you're doing, that's the keyboard that feels right for an AI-native Mac.
