We’ve reached an agreement to acquire @ona_hq. Its secure cloud execution technology will help Codex take on longer-running work, even when laptops are closed, and help more organizations deploy agents securely in production. After closing, Ona will join OpenAI’s Codex team. openai.com/index/openai-to-a…

PartyKit!
THIS GUY HAD OPUS 4.8 BUILD A FULL LEAGUE OF LEGENDS CLONE IN UNDER A DAY AND CALLED IT "LMAO" temu league of legends, fully playable, multiplayer, and all built by claude ALL the art is claude too he had claude generate every character, animation, and background as SVG code then converted them to procedural canvas for smooth animation. used dedicated sub-agents for each champion the tech stack: typescript, react, canvas, and partykit for multiplayer the workflow: > used /goal to kick off the entire project > ultracode workflows for big tasks like optimization > /goal again to queue up lists of bug fixes > treated claude like a dev team the original champion names claude came up with: the original champion names claude came up with: Teehee" instead of Teemo. "CtrlAltDefeat" as a champion name. he had to run through and clean them all up so nothing infringed on riot's IPī–ī€»īƒ»īƒ¹īƒŽ claude even built the bots on its own with "chill," "normal," and "sweaty" difficulty levels the token bill was 2.7 billion total tokens consumed. mostly cache reads. 15.5 million actual output tokens. would have cost roughly $6,600 at list price but he just used his pro max subscriptions people are already benchmarking claude by how good of a game clone it can build game developers are watching someone build a multiplayer MOBA in a day with zero art skills and zero game dev experience 2026 is wild (and its going to get even wilder)

Building apps has never been easier. With Sites, Codex can turn your work, ideas, and plans into an interactive website or app your team can explore, use, and share with a URL. Rolling out to Business and Enterprise plans, before expanding more broadly.

OpenAI frontier models and Codex are now generally available on AWS, giving enterprises a new way to build on Amazon Bedrock with OpenAI through the security, compliance, and governance workflows they already use. This is also the beginning of a broader expansion of OpenAI capabilities on AWS, including future availability for cybersecurity capabilities like Daybreak. openai.com/index/openai-fron…

OpenAI Robotics is making rapid progress towards building AI that can help people in the physical world. Apply now to join the team:
May 31
OpenAI Robotics is hiring, looking for exceptional full-stack hardware, ops, systems, and ML engineers to help us program and manufacture robots that are useful for society. AI should be able to help people in the physical world. In the short term, we are focused on robots to support skilled workers to build our future infrastructure; in the long term, we imagine everyone having a personal robot doing anything they need. Our world simulation research program, led by Aditya Ramesh (@model_mechanic), has evolved over the past year into OpenAI Robotics. Progress is rapid, and based on a foundation of co-design between robotics hardware and ML research. If you love working hands-on across the robotics stack and want to build the future, please consider joining us. Send an email with your background and evidence of exceptional accomplishment to: robotics-recruiting@openai.com

Today, we’re sharing that a general-purpose internal @openai model achieved a breakthrough on one of the best-known combinatorial geometry problems. Less than 1 year ago frontier AI models were at IMO gold-level performance. I expect this pace of progress to continue.

Today, we share a breakthrough on the planar unit distance problem, a famous open question first posed by Paul Erdős in 1946. For nearly 80 years, mathematicians believed the best possible solutions looked roughly like square grids. An OpenAI model has now disproved that belief, discovering an entirely new family of constructions that performs better. This marks the first time AI has autonomously solved a prominent open problem central to a field of mathematics.

Since day zero, @cjpedregal and @samstphenson’s vision for Granola has been to go well beyond meeting notes and help teams do real work before and after the meetings. Awesome to see them expanding from the middle out with this launch, and I know there’s a lot more on the way.

Very excited for this launch! I highly recommend connecting your Gmail to Granola for better briefs. Some stats: - We pre-generate them overnight so they are ready in the morning - We generate a personalized brief for every person (even in the same meeting) - It takes the agent 3.6 mins on avg to research and write a single brief - It costs us ~6 cents per brief (64k input tokens on avg) - We use 3 different models (one for research, web search, and writing) The briefs definitely get stuff wrong still, but keep getting better. Please send feedback!

In the last couple of years I’ve had a front row seat to the future. So I’m excited to be stepping into a new role at @OpenAI leading Founder Experience, taking the work I’ve been doing with founders, developers and investors across EMEA to a global level. I have travelled around the world meeting founders at meetups, universities, VC events and hackathons, builders creating incredible companies. The jump from builder to founder is one of the most important moments on their journey: going from experimenting, hacking and prototyping to building a company, creating value for others and shaping what’s next. We’re building this function around a simple belief: if you are building in the service of others, then we are in the service of you. Founder Experience is focused on helping founders move fast, be supported from Day 1 and through every stage of growth.
