Why don’t you advocate for the lifting of the travel bans by other countries for Uganda? I’m sure you’ve witnessed first hand that the situation isn’t as bad as your lot had made it look. Why advocate for a situation that will compromise our health sector .. something just isn’t right with your organization.

The death of Sydney has really troubled me, an innocent life senselessly taken because we take the law in our own hands. May all the perpetrators be brought to book and may they receive a fate 10 times worse than what they did. RIP Sydney.. the country and the Uganda rugby community have lost a great prospect.

I think @JK_Kazoora message about communication should be a half lesson to the @MinofHealthUG going forward. Sometimes your good intentions will be taken advantage of. The Ministry through @DianaAtwine thought they were being transparency by sharing the stats on Ebola yet this transparent communication backfired and warranted some countries to impose travel bans. Sometimes we just need to manage our affairs internally without sharing with the world. Bse you are less doomed when you don’t than when you do as witnessed by what is happening now. “what you don’t know won’t hurt you.” So I guess it’s now on @WHO to set the record straight since they were the ones who blew this transparency out of proportion.

The Pass the Mic Comedy Fest Canadian Tour has been regrettably postponed due to the Ebola outbreak in Uganda hence the Canadian government putting travel restrictions from Uganda. New dates will be communicated once the restrictions have been lifted , let’s keep the hope alive Canada 🇨🇦
