🚀 the second is another course from the Google team on Web/Dev. I talked about this w/ @imkevdev @ @PerfNowConf. Another free course:

Both can be done at your own place, but are meant to really bring you to *speed* on modern perf (2/n) RT?
#100DaysOfPerf
🚀 On day 2 of #100DaysOfPerf, want to share 2 foundational resources :
1. @scottjehl launched a course that is now accessible from @RealWebPageTest , for FREE:

This is something for those really trying gather what modern #webperf is like. (RT?) (1/n)

Munich tested a number of different methods to protect cyclists on bicycle lanes. Would be nice if #malta even pretended to try.🤷

Tip: In @ChromeDevTools you can now hide network requests from Chrome extensions! 😍 Huge for focusing on just your code when profiling performance.
ALT To help you focus on the code you author and filter out irrelevant requests sent by extensions you might have installed in Chrome, the Network panel gets a new filter.
To filter out all the requests sent to chrome-extension:// URLs, check Checkbox. Hide extension URLs.
Do you use the CWV Tech Report? cwvtech.report/
It merges the CrUX dataset and @HTTPArchive crawl data to trend CWVs by technology.
We're working on a brand new version with a new UI and would love to hear how you use the current version:

PSA: with no notice given, my account's DM settings were changed to only allow bluechecks. AKA the last people I want sending me DMs. Only noticed because someone else said it happened and I checked my own.
You can change this in Settings > Privacy and Safety > Direct Messages.
My latest blog post goes in-depth on why & how to remove SVGs from your JS bundle: kurtextrem.de/posts/svg-in-j…, inspired by a tweet from @_developit.
some surprises inside, e.g. did you know that SVG animations inside <img> are capped to 60 Hz? I didn't. #webperf
If you’re into #webperf you HAVE to go to this conference. Had a blast both times I’ve been and definitely going again this year. So many great people there and great atmosphere.

With the announcement that INP is due to become a full Core Web Vital next year, optimising your responsiveness should be on all developers mindset over the next year.
@malchata dropped a lot of new and updated advice on how to do that - check it out!
