I am at the point where I do not think gay couples should be allowed to adopt.
Adoption agencies must prioritize heterosexual couples with fertility issues, because those are the parents that will provide by far the safest and healthiest and most normal upbringing.
The point of adoption is to provide children with parents. It is NOT to provide adults with children.
Is this unfair to gay men? Yeah, absolutely. But if you are incapable of not living a life that makes it biologically impossible for you to reproduce, you should not get to be responsible for a baby.
This is possibly the worst crime in modern history.
Two men "adopted" a baby.
"A post mortem examination identified more than 30 external bruises, as well as internal bruising to his mouth and throat, internal bruising to his anus, bowel and bladder, lacerations to his anorectum, and a perforated bowel."
"One medical expert gave evidence that a bruise on the baby’s bottom appeared to be a human bite mark."
Think what this poor baby went through. The men who did this should be put to death.
Men should not be able to buy babies. I know that this will cause some anguish to good men who have good intentions, but it's necessary to prevent this happening. This cannot happen again.

If the church became completely heretical overnight I would still be Catholic. If they took away the Mass I would still be Catholic. If they acted in manners so abhorrent I could no longer step foot in the church, I would still be Catholic.
It isn't about what the humans say.

No, never. Even if the Church itself becomes heretical we will always be Catholic. It was the church founded by Jesus Christ himself. Period.

Catholics have basically three options:
1. Sedevacantism - just deny he’s even the Pope so you can reject everything he says
2. Popesplaining - desperately twist and contort the Pope’s many statements to make them conform with a “mere orthodoxy” of Catholicism
3. Serenity - you don’t have to stay up to date with every happening in the Vatican. You don’t have to deal with every papal interview. You can just get on with your life as a Catholic in your parish, praying for the Pope, obeying the bishop he appoints over you, and engaging with his serious magisterial teachings.

The Reformation was necessary to allow Christians to dissent from clergy when they do nonsense like this
For example, the clergy in my denomination also believe a lot of things I don't like, but I'm free to publicly dissent and vote against them

Abortion is always wrong 100% of the time.
But I would see it as a stepping stone towards total abolition to ban the 98% or so of abortions which are committed for personal convenience.
From there, I would continue fighting so no child would have to suffer for his or her parents'choices.
