Pro-Israel gatherings in universities (all that I've seen):
- mourning the murdered and calling for the return of the abducted
- NOT calling for any violence
- condemning Hamas terrorism, NOT even mentioning that Hamas was democratically elected in Gaza
Anti-Israel gatherings in many universities:
- calling for violence ("Intifada", e.g., yesterday at MIT)
- calling for genocide ("From the river to the sea", e.g., yesterday at MIT)
- chanting against the US ("Hey hey, ho ho, the United States has got to go", e.g., yesterday at Harvard)
Today
@MIT. Make no mistake, “from the river to the sea” is a call for genocide. How are Israeli/Jewish students, staff, and faculty supposed to feel safe on campus? Alongside hate, this rally used the ignorant participants to spread lies also unbecoming of an elite institution.
