I love a good visual metaphor. In today’s supervision meeting my student was doubting her progress. So I got out some of my plants to show her how she’s doing (where I’m pointing), vs how she feels like she’s doing. #phdchat

...and the awards continue to roll in for Birth Time: the documentary.... the conversations we are having in the Northern Hemmisphere are so heart warming. Universal themes are emerging across maternity systems in the developed world. We are sharing a lot of the same struggle.
