Argentinians hating Mexicans is so funny. It’s because people like them more than you, isn’t it?

Central Powers revisionism has always been really weird to me. Austria had the most specifically “‘colonial’ goals of anyone fighting; Germany did Herero genocide was prototyping Generalplan Ost; Ottomans had the Armenian Genocide allowing early Zionist settlement
There are thousands of cases like these where Austrian forces lynched a bundle of Serbian villagers for the hell of it

It’s interesting how recent left disillusionment on China focuses on Palestine but less on a dystopian FPV holocaust that basically relies on their manufacturing. Even if you don’t think this supports NATO fascists it’s fairly grotesque war profiteering

Whenever people talk about Chapo losing its punch now I think about relistening to the CPAC episode like two months back and realizing the main tell it wasn’t from the current year was discussion of Charlie Kirk in the present tense
I find Felix Biederman almost unbearable to listen to. It’s sad because I used to look up to him and found his righteous anger very compelling. He’s so checked out. I understand it all. I just wish they would have the heart to either do something else or make a drastic change.

why does this not mean also supporting the embargo on cuba has this person ever given more than 3 seconds of thought to something
Feel like if you push for sanctions on Israel, following that up with ending sanctions on Russia just is politically idiotic and opens you up to easy accusations of hypocrisy.

Con mucha tristeza me entero de la pérdida de Juan Iñigo Carrera, probablemente el teórico marxista más relevante que tuvo Argentina. Un tipo que se animó a innovar como ningún otro en su campo. Se lo va a extrañar mucho

My takeaway from this story is that the real innovations in Jewish magic still come from the Old Country bc Yermak did this golem trick but to another Jewish comedy writer
While the rest of his party reluctantly retreats from an ironclad allyship with Israel, Pennsylvania senator John Fetterman's political identity is increasingly defined by a blanket defense of the country. Online, Fetterman frequently mocks critics of Israel. In interviews, he has pushed back on claims that Israel’s actions in Gaza constitute genocide. By Democratic Party standards, Fetterman’s position on Israel is extreme. There are a multitude of theories as to why. But people close to Fetterman cite a previously unreported factor: Behind the scenes, Fetterman is being encouraged and counseled by a little-known man in his late 30s named David “Dovi” Safier. Safier, a writer of Jewish history and fundraiser for Orthodox causes, has no public background in government or counseling politicians on Capitol Hill. He is not an official staffer or paid outside adviser. A few years ago, he “just kind of appeared” in the senator’s orbit, one former Fetterman staffer remembers. And then, suddenly, he seemed to be everywhere. Staffers would walk into Fetterman’s office, only to find Safier sitting in the room. The two are constantly texting and talking, according to multiple former Fetterman staffers, and Safier has unofficially operated as a top campaign fundraiser and senior adviser. He has even set up and attended sensitive meetings with foreign officials; in some cases, he is the only person staffing those meetings. Read Alex Shultz’s full report on how Safier has become arguably the senator’s closest confidant, as Fetterman isolates himself from many of colleagues and members of his his own party: nymag.visitlink.me/5ZQzd0

Montoneros also sent some Argentine fighters to Lebanon. Bizarrely this later meant that Israel denied asylum to Jewish Montoneros after the coup but did offer it to (Jewish) revolutionary guevarists from the ERP
The PLO was the center of a surprisingly international movement during the 1970s. You had Quebecois nationalists, the Red Army Faction, Sandinistas, Japanese Red Army, Tamil Tigers, and Armenian Secret Army all training with them — Most of the big names were there in Lebanon.

The guy who led to Montoneros delegation to the PLO was also a right-wing Catholic antisemite who ended up fanatically supporting the carapintadas (army officers trying to restore the dictatorship in the ‘90s)

Credit where it’s due to East Slavs for at long last finding a way to weaponize dashcam videos and making this the basis of all future warfare
For the first time, an IDF Merkava Mk. 4 has been lost to an FPV drone. Seen here, a Hezbollah FPV flies right into the anti-drone cage, which does nothing to prevent an ammunition cookoff, likely destroying the tank.
