It didn’t outgrow rogers, which it would have under effective leadership. Attendance was flat to down for a long time with the exception of the post covid bump. Then one too many complain about the lack of water or the electrified showers and the venue decides they’d rather the campground goes empty.
Did leadership see the problems with rogers and find somewhere better? Did they see unrented campsites as a personal failure? Nope, and they’re still not trying, instead justifying their ineptitude as somehow innovative. Very sad, and totally avoidable.
Decentralized porcfest is a dumb boomerminded idea that just continues what wasn’t working already, at ever smaller scale.
We support visiting New Hampshire any time you can, so you might as well come the week of June 21st.
But we agree with David Friedman. This is a terrible idea, and is basically the end of PorcFest.
PorcFest survived Covid, but couldn't survive the leadership of Carla Gericke.
