Happy to release Stacks v2.67 today. This release updates process_radtags to make it easier to use SRA data and to filter poly-G (error) runs coming from Nextseq/Novaseq machines bugfixes. We also added a genotype depth filter to populations #RADseq catchenlab.life.illinois.edu…

Out today in Molecular Ecology Resources: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/… (open access) Congratulations to Gio on his first, first author paper and on publishing a useful tool for the community!
If you have a sequence that you love – a gene family, transposable element, regulatory feature – you probably spend a lot of time looking for it in different sets of sequence. If so, you might find our latest tool, Klumpy, useful. biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…

As Zam says, this is impressive work by shows @nanopore consensus call accuracy being better than illumina (with a deep learning caller, in bacteria) - I have huge COI (long established consultant for @nanopore and shareholder) but wanted to put this in short long term context
Mandatory reading and surprising results from Michael Hall and colleagues - much better SNP/indel calling results from latest nanopore (beating illumina), and deep learning methods really doing well. Extremely thorough work biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…
