This will be an amazing dialogue, thanks to the smart and diverse points of view present! I can't wait to see how they define this term that has been used for so long- but also, how might we address the need?
Mark your calendars🗓️On April 14,2026, I'll be a guest at @DohaDebates Virtual Majlis: "What is Social Justice?" We'll share stories across borders. Mine: a microbiologist & Igede woman from Nigeria. Justice=a bridge,not a verdict.Tune in.Listen.Learn. #DohaDebates #SocialJustice

These folks are not only the core of the program, but also the proof of its value. These are the people who stay up late to riff and brainstorm and iterate! They keep it real and push it forward. All gratitude!

“ By fully integrating disabled people into our environmental policies, we can benefit from their unique expertise and valuable perspectives. ” THIS is how we might take a systemic approach. Thank you Sylvain!
Dear African leaders, As we prepare for the @AfClimateSummit , it is crucial that we take bold action to combat global warming. Africa is one of the continents most vulnerable to the effects of climate change, and it is imperative that we act now to protect our environment and our future. As leaders, we have a responsibility to put in place concrete policies and actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, develop renewable energies and promote sustainable practices. By acting decisively, we can mitigate the devastating consequences of climate change and preserve the natural resources on which our communities depend. However, as we engage in these efforts, it is essential that we also ensure the participation and inclusion of people with disabilities in decision-making processes. Too often, these individuals are marginalized and excluded from decision-making, limiting their access to resources and opportunities. By fully integrating disabled people into our environmental policies, we can benefit from their unique expertise and valuable perspectives. Their knowledge and experience can help shape more inclusive policies and adaptation measures that meet the needs of all members of our society, including the most vulnerable. In conclusion, dear African leaders, the African Summit on the Environment is a crucial opportunity to take decisive action to combat global warming. However, we must not forget the importance of including people with disabilities in these decision-making processes. By working together, we can create a sustainable and equitable future for all African citizens, protecting our environment and ensuring that no one is left behind. #InclusiveClimateAction #DisabilityInclusion #AfricaClimateSummit23 @_AfricanUnion @COP28_UAE @AYCAssembly2023 @Y4Cofficial @IDA_CRPD_Forum @CBM_Global @WilliamsRuto @enable_rdc @digitalaom @soniaborrini @UNYouthEnvoy @GretaThunberg @FinnishEmbNBO @italyindrc @ItalyMFA @vanessa_vash @Mulunda_JC @KivuyoLaurel @EmmanuelGanse @theGEF @pilotspeaker @rachadsanoussi @lizwathuti @lizgulaz @SustDev @UNDPClimate @UNDESA @true0ptimist @Bonventure65 @EkeleJiata @SDGaction
