It’s important to recognize Mozilla’s continuing work, using their considerable power with browsers and control over their certificate trust program which is reused everywhere.
One of the other things we need to remember is behind this industry-wide push for HTTPS on everything is Mozilla's requirement for a secure context for all new features in Firefox. **MOZILLA'S** requirement, not Google's: blog.mozilla.org/security/20…
