The most concerning omission from the latest disclosures is information about the Government’s meetings with Palantir, which were organised by Peter Mandelson. Palantir’s ever-increasing involvement in our NHS and access to our health data is deeply worrying. It’s an issue I’ve raised many times. A company which supports Israel’s military operations in Gaza, Trump’s ICE raids, and advocates NHS privatisation should be nowhere near our health service. The Government must commit to exercising the break clause in its contract with Palantir in 2027 as a matter of urgency. #NoPalantirInTheNHS #SayNoToPalantir

The idea that in recent days whole towns and villages were blatantly, deliberately cut off from the public water supply because water companies haven't invested in enough equipment to treat and supply water is utter madness.

Since Thames Water is once again staring down a gun barrel, the £3 billion bailout it had runs out later this year, I thought it might be timely to remind us all of the “Economically illiterate”, cost govt comes up with to renationalise the water industry, you remember the £100 billion. It is of course made up nonsense produced by a think tank in a report which was bought and paid for my United Utilities, Anglian Water, Severn Trent Water and South West Water. By their calculations it would now cost £26,659,419,800 to nationalise Thames Water. 🤣🤣🤣 What a joke.

South East Water left thousands of homes in Kent without access to water on the hottest days of the year so far. Yet another shocking example of the failure of privatisation. Given the scale of the crisis in the water sector, a purely regulatory approach is like putting a complaints box on the Titanic. Public ownership is the only real solution, as I told the Water Minister in parliament yesterday.
