I never thought I would see anything more impressive than Tennessee Twitter forcing the Vols to unhire Greg Schiano. But the collective college football world uniting against Texas Tech and bullying it into getting rid of its starting QB, might have topped that. This is the most united we’ve been as a country in decades.

The Conference of Mayors is apparently admitting that they want to overcharge broadband providers for access to public rights of way. The organization is opposing the American Broadband Deployment Act's restriction on fees to "actual, objectively reasonable costs."

Wild that the youngest was president first (and over 30 years ago!) and the oldest is still president.
Three presidents were born in the span of a couple of months in the summer of 1946: "Donald Trump on June 14...George W. Bush on July 6, Bill Clinton on Aug. 19." washingtonpost.com/opinions/…

We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of beloved lecturer Joe Schwarz. Schwarz’s legacy lives on in the students he taught. He encouraged taking government seriously & seeing public service as both a responsibility & a calling. Info: myumi.ch/39jGg

The seersucker suit is uniquely American and a beloved New Orleans invention. It’s good looking, keeps you cool and should always will have a place in the U.S. Senate. Thank you to my colleagues and to all the staff who attended the 13th Annual National Seersucker Day!

I get why Larkin wants out but his play in March was a major reason Detroit fell off. - 11 games from Feb 28-April 7 without an even strength goal. - 9 games from March 2-April 4 without an even strength point.

UGH. I get that he hasn't produced the way we expected and has issues with management but sad to see a hometown kid want to go.
