Nearly 47% of separations in DC from federal employment in 2025 reported having a Master’s degree or higher. These losses accounted for nearly $2.4 billion, or 53%, of the total federal annual pay lost in 2025 from separations. Read more in our latest: ora-cfo.dc.gov/blog/deep-div…

My big idea: car horns should sound as loud inside the car as outside. In a real emergency it won’t matter, but it would discourage casual honking if the driver also had to blast himself with the noise.

I agree. Rep Chuy Garcia’s decision to end his re-election at the last second and plant his chief of staff as the only candidate to succeed him was undemocratic and should not be allowed. Standing against corruption means standing up no matter which political party violates. The House should condemn and steps need to be taken to restore the people’s right to choose.
