Chrome just broke records on two major benchmarks and nobody is talking about it. Faster JS. Better AI workload support. Smarter rendering engine. The browser is where agentic apps live. No installs. No native wrappers. Just apps that adapt to what you need. Speed isn’t a nice to have anymore. It’s the foundation.. @Google @googlechrome blog.google/chromium/a-doubl…

tl;dr on the rendering engine. Chrome deployed a unified cache for DOM lookups, streamlined CSS selector matching, and used SIMD to make string copying faster during page load. They also fixed font rendering bottlenecks and added a cache for SVG processing. The result: pages that feel snappier from first load to animations. That’s the UX layer. Users feel this one.

tl;dr on WebAssembly. Chrome optimized how V8 manages internal data structures and improved code generation for SIMD instructions. The big win: AI, cryptography, and interpreter workloads specifically. They also cut the overhead of calls between JavaScript and WebAssembly by eliminating repeated type conversions inside loops. Wasm is where a lot of agentic compute is going.

improvements. Chrome inlined fast paths for async operations, sorting, and string comparisons in the optimizing compiler. Skips steps most code never needs. They also got smarter about what to optimize and when. Async and generator functions now optimize earlier when running in parallel. Less overhead. Faster execution. Every day.

Cohort 2 is officially open. MonkeFoundry is looking for the next group of founders building high-conviction products on Solana. If you’re building across DeFi, consumer, payments, gaming, AI, infrastructure, creator tools, social, or anything that pushes Solana forward, we want to see it. Cohort 1 brought together talented teams, ecosystem partners, mentors, and investors. Now we’re opening the door for the next group. Selected teams will receive hands-on support, ecosystem visibility, founder resources, demo opportunities, and access to the MonkeDAO network. Applications are open now. Bring us what you’re building. @solana - @MonkeDAO

Smart move by @AnthropicAI They cannot lose the advantage they had and those advanced users that were bringing in regular users into Claude. I for one was starting to use @OpenAI codex but now I’m moving back to Claude..
Anthropic allows OpenClaw usage again. From @openclaw docs.

hey mom and dad - I made it to Civic’s demo! This is what AI guardrails look like in action 🐵. Check it out @openclaw and @MonkeDAO fam.
80% of teams using AI agents have had one do something they didn't intend. (SailPoint, 2025) Here's what "not letting that happen" actually looks like. Real agent. Real guardrails. Real block. Get guardrails: docs.civic.com/civic/concept…

I can't wait for an affordable (aka cheap) home device to run my own models with my buddy @Pisco_dM running on @openclaw
Meet Gemma 4: our new family of open models you can run on your own hardware. Built for advanced reasoning and agentic workflows, we’re releasing them under an Apache 2.0 license. Here’s what’s new 🧵

AI agents are running your stack. The question nobody's answering: where are the guardrails? @titus_k broke it down today in this talk at OpenClaw Hack Day. Thank you to @itsajchan, @awscloud and @ContextualAI. The security layer between your agent and your tools isn't optional anymore. It's infrastructure. Watch the full presentation⬇️
