What are your opinions on Count Dooku?

Obviously many responses to this are "uh but the OT used real life locations too." Obviously VFX weren't around to help planets feel truly alien at the time but Lucas went to great effort to feature a wide variety of planet types anyhow. Endor is a great example where a redwood forest in northern California was used to showcase the giant larger than life trees of the forest moon that many have never seen before. This along with the Ewok village helped create a unique and iconic Star Wars location.
Dan Gilroy's imagination is limited so his idea of unique planets is just "oh here's the Scottish Highlands" or "here's a planet full of wheat." This isn't a problem unique to him as all of Disney's Star Wars has it but it showcases a creative bankruptcy across the board.

One design choice I don't like in SWTOR is how the Republic soldiers from KOTOR were changed to look like clones and the Sith troopers into some weird buckethead design. Yes I know designs change over time and I encourage it but in my opinion this wasn't the way to go.

Telling someone the United States government is under the control of Israel
Dooku might have been the bad guy, but he was not wrong if only they had listened to him earlier, a lot would have been avoided. Sometimes, it proves that you should sometimes listen to your enemy when they are telling you the truth

That's the beauty of it bro, we study the source material, page after page, book after book... They won't even know we're actually larping... And when the questions roll in, we use that knowledge to our advantage and we can keep posing like nothing even happened...

To give a compliment to Andor I actually like that they brought back Kyle Katarns Bryar pistol and the rifle attachments for it are a neat idea

I wouldn't hate this 6/10 tv show so much if its fans didn't act like it was a 12/10.
nothing makes prequel fans angrier than the reality that someone whose last name isn't Lucas made a better prequel than Lucas himself. it's so fucking funny watching them flail to condemn Andor while defending a film trilogy where a character says the words "yousa guys bombad."

People just like to attack Spielberg because he's popular but this is exactly right. This is the same as blaming Lucas's revolutionary use of digital backgrounds on filmmakers being incredibly lazy with green screen now.

99% of Spielberg discourse ignores that if you delete Jaws and Star Wars the biggest movies of the 70s would still mostly be like, Smokey and the Bandit and The Poseidon Adventure.

This is rich coming from a guy that made hours of video whining about George Lucas and the prequels.

Opinions can change over time. I actually still don't even dislike Andor but the contempt its fans have for Lucas and the franchise has led me to call it out. I do still like the Narkina 5 arc of the show too.

They knew who their audience was and appealed to them accordingly
Genuinely, what were they feeding Xbox 360 marketing

The best modern games aren’t even in the same league as the average pre-2006 LucasArts release.
Name one game from 20 years ago that's still better than modern games. I'll wait.

I highly recommend Deep Space Nine to Andor fans to see what a truly complex sci-fi show with deep themes and plotlines is actually like.

Obviously this is far more embarrassing than anything in Andor. Dave Filoni did in fact ask "what if we made zombies in Star Wars lame as hell?" Just read Joe Schreiber's Death troopers instead.
I mean yea I am embarrassed at the other Star Wars media because they put out garbage stuff like this

Star Wars Andor fans are, at heart, perpetual tweenage adolescents who are embarrassed at still liking a kid’s property, want to be treated like Serious Intellectuals, and so they turn to the Shadow the Hedgehog version of the story that’s clearly embarrassed of its origins.

The E-11 is a Sterling SMG with optics and some other small details added on to make it into its own thing. The original Star Wars was operating on a tight budget and yet they put far more effort and creativity into this than anyone nowadays would.
LARP status continues: the T-21 is just a Lewis Gun with the magazine removed. And the DLT-19 is just a MG-34 with magazine removed.

Literally the creator of the franchise you're saying isn't for kids, telling you that the franchise he created is in fact for kids
calling Star Wars a kids’ property while being a prequel defender is crazy work

"Erm the prequels had good ideas they just weren't executed well." No actually they were brilliant but you didn't bother to pay attention despite Lucas making them with the intent that even children should be able to understand the machinations at work.
