Why do you allow the road area to be used for 2 wheeler parking near Lakshmi mills junction (Avinashi road side and Pankaja mill road side) for visitors to LuLu shopping complex and other stores? Is parking fee high so that visitors use parking outside their compound? Can parking be a business activity inside the mall compound ? Isn’t the rent charged for the business owner inside the compound also includes the cost of parking area? If yes why customers are being charged, which makes visitors park on the public area which is creating traffic for commuters ? How many people can be accommodated inside the mall or shopping area at any given time and how much parking they are suppose to give ? If you place a No Parking board outside their compounds facing the road area, are you worried their business may affect? Can they profit from avoiding the cost of additional parking to retain their margins by offsetting their cost of parking on the corporation public area which are to be used for mobility of vehicles on roads ? Place No parking boards on such compound walls and reestablish that roads are for driving ! Pl Take Immediate action ! It’s a sheer violation especially on weekends ! Applies to every mall area in the city ! Heavy crowd inside malls or shopping area beyond the permissible limit can lead to unhygienic atmosphere , dangers and catastrophe ! Don’t encourage that by allowing parking in the highways !
