The Pune Municipal Corporation’s ambitious 24x7 water supply project is severely affected and apparently, delayed due to the slow pace of Katraj-Kondhwa road widening work, which has been ongoing since 2018. The residents of Kondhwa Budruk, Undri and Mohamadwadi, who face acute water crisis, are forced to spend lakhs of rupees in water tankers. Civic authorities claim that it is difficult to lay water pipelines due to the incomplete road work. Pune Metro Guard, Mr. Vikas Bangar, displayed an exemplary presence of mind that saved the life of a 3-year-old boy. On the date 19.01.2024 at 14:22 hrs, a 3-year-old boy fell on the tracks from the Civil Court Elevated Station, Platform 2. To save the child, the child's mother also fell in an attempt to rescue her child. The on-duty guard observed the incident and immediately operated the emergency train stop button while the train was just 30 meters away from the station on both sides. After operating the button, the train on both tracks stopped before the Civil Court Elevated Station. In the meantime, the child and his mother were successfully rescued from the track and reunited with their family. Guard Shri. Vikas Bangar is being felicitated by Maha Metro for his exemplary work. #punemetro

After 2 days, stagnant water has drained out and we can see the condition of the road. There's a deadliest 3-in-1 pothole. Whom to dedicate? Rain? Tax that we pay? Or may be to the @PMCPune... #CarelessPMC Provide a permanent solution to this issue ASAP!!!

@PMCPune is neglecting this road. Complains on X to official letters, & so much of followups for the last 1 year. Fix this and provide DP roads so we can connect to rest of the areas. Marol Chowk (Somji chowk) to Balaji Furniture, entire patch is full of potholes.
