I’ve been in Brighton for the last four days for our Liberal Democrat Autumn conference! Here’s a taste of what I got up to;
🌿 Spoke about the importance of nature recovery in the Chichester constituency when summating on a motion for National Nature Parks.
🌊 Took fellow MPs out in kayaks on Brighton beach with Women in Sport to encourage more women to take up a sport.
🎼 Submitted and spoke for an amendment to protect music fans from surge pricing and ticket touts.
💷 Joined a panel to discuss the importance of philanthropy and charitable giving to support communities and sang the praises of charities such as Young People’s Shop and PACSO.
🎤 Spoke on both TV and radio about how Liberal Democrats will be a constructive opposition
🖇️ Met with organisations and charities to talk about the support available to Chichester constituents and how best to support the work they do.
🚰 Visited the Peacehaven Water Treatment Plant with the Liberal Democrat environment spokesperson, Tim Farron, to meet with Southern Water’s Chief Executive to highlight the serious issues facing our area and plan further meetings in the constituency.

Liberal Democrat MPs with colleagues, members and activists from across the Country, which included having lots of fun!
Back home now and Chairing a Westminster forum debate tomorrow morning on water quality with industry leaders, then visiting a Chichester care home in the afternoon!
