#BREAKING - An Ontario court has struck down a bill that limited wages for public sector workers. The Ford governments bill 124 capped public sector wage increases to 1% per year. The court decision opens the door for unions to take the government to court for backpay.
The lowest paid education workers have given strike notice b/c they can't afford to keep using food banks.
So I've got a message for @Sflecce: Come to the table on Tuesday with a reasonable deal that saves our kids' school year & pays these workers a decent wage. #onted#onpoli
