What a week at @NFCsummit 🤘 Exploring digital art since early 2021, I discovered all the wonderful people who shaped how I see this space. The love from @normiesART holders and builders is one of a kind. Joining was the only natural step! LOTS OF LOVE TO ALL I MET ❤️

I Started with a collection of just over 350 Normies. Being the largest holder was pretty cool and seeing the price on my early purchase go up a huge amount was awesome and I was very thankful ….. but in the end what did that really do to help or contribute to the community other than serve myself ? Decided would be much more epic and fun to create a plan to burn every single one to create 4 masterworks to promote @normiesART and @serc1n and all the hard work he and his team has done… Amazing artist @lphaCentauriKid was first up and created the epic Skelemoon for me. 3 more legendary works to go created by absolute legends …………….Stay tuned :)
After #0, we got another 90 burns into #4698 WeitsmanArtLab started with Skelemoon by @lphaCentauriKid Normie #603 Yesterday 90 burned, a canvas with 1188 action points. Today 90 burned, a canvas with 1118 action points. For the records, in a day 90 ETH worth of Normies burned and 2 to-be customized canvases emerged. @AdamWeitsman is absolutely creating the most iconic collection by [REDACTED] artists in fully on-chain programmable canvas: Normies collection.

Biome Lumina at @DatalandMuseum is going to melt minds. 🦋 Already recognised butterflies owned by @ats_eth, @sergitosergito, ShogunAI in this video - and can’t wait to experience pieces from my own collection in person, while seeing thousands of people see, hear and even smell works I own inside what’s shaping up to be the greatest AI art museum ever created.

I did like the experience brought by @SHL0MS . Now, what I experienced from it is probably different than you. We all come from our own views and backgrounds. Was I surprised by the reactions and comments? Not really. Being relatively new to social media, I always find it fascinating how people comment arrogantly as if they own the topic, while having absolutely no clue what they are talking about. What this experience showed clearly is that the average dude on X knows almost nothing about Monet or art in general. We couldn’t do the same with the Mona Lisa or Starry Night, but with one of Monet’s Water Lilies series, it became the perfect trap for all the Mr. Know It Alls of social media. Good job by SHL0MS here. A similar experience happened months ago, this time through a @dangiuz painting, but from a completely opposite perspective while generating a similar buzz, reaching over 2M views and 60k likes. This one wasn’t planned at all, which made the whole thing even more fascinating. Grok itself wasn’t able to distinguish what was AI made from what was human made. In doubt, Grok preferred to assume it was AI generated. For those interested, here’s the post below my comment. I do love conceptuality in AI art. I’ve spent over a year studying it, and throughout that journey I came across many discussions, always in different formats, but with the same recurring actors: AI haters. One of the most impactful moments for me, and honestly a wake up call, was when Machine Hallucinations entered MoMA. The polarization between @jerrysaltz and @refikanadol became almost anthology material. One of the real triggers of the “AI can’t be art” movement over three years ago. More recently, the February 8, 2025 “Cancel the Christie’s AI Art Auction” letter became another major example highlighting the polarization of this debate. These conversations, no matter the format or forum, always tend to bring out the extremes of both camps. For the pro AI art crowd: just because something is visually stunning and technically perfect doesn’t automatically make it creative. That is where AI generally still lacks. As shown in the SHL0MS experiment, fooling the masses or baiting neophytes is not automatically a sign of creativity. Magritte, through La trahison des images, already showed that representation itself, no matter how perfect, cannot be experienced the same way as reality. With a real Monet, you can feel every brush stroke if you push the experience deeply enough, and that is something impossible to fully replicate online. Also, as powerful as AI is, it remains a mirror of humanity. Nothing more, nothing less. AI would never have created Monet in 1870 because without datasets, AI is empty. Comparing AI directly to Monet or Duchamp often becomes a lack of discernment. And for the “human art only” crowd: your fear of being replaced and forgotten blinds you from reality. AI is a tool. It can help in every sphere of life, not only creation. Don’t reject it, embrace it, and elevate creativity to its fullest potential. Those who understand how to use it will eventually reach new limits. Don’t be lazy though. While I personally believe AI may eventually surpass us through patterns and intellectual evolution, we are still only at the beginning of this revolution, and nobody can truly predict where the limits are. But what my instincts tell me is that human and machine collaboration can become something very real. Those who embrace AI, not as a shortcut for laziness, but as a tool to push creative limits further, may eventually revive a new Renaissance in both art and science. Is SHL0MS’ inferior image a prank or a conceptual masterpiece? To me, it sits somewhere in between. But I will always appreciate work that sparks discussions and challenges perspectives. And in that regard, the work is undeniably a success. x.com/dangiuz/status/2012842…

Refik is one of the most amazing artists in the world!
They said photography wasn’t art. They said cinema wasn’t art. They said video games weren’t art. Now they say AI arts/digital art isn’t art. I’ve spent over a decade with my studio team turning millions of data points into living, breathing artwork experiences ethically — at MoMA, at the Guggenheim, at the Venice Biennale. Not because a machine told me what to create, but because I had a vision that no traditional tool could realize. Denying all AI technologies as an artistic medium doesn’t protect art. It limits it. The artists who embrace new tools don’t replace the old masters — they join them. Art is not defined by the brush. It’s defined by the intention, the emotion, and the courage to see the world differently.

Master these 10 habits in 2026. Feel amazing, reclaim agency self-respect. 1. final food 4 hr before bed 2. screens off 30 min before bed 3. avoid blue light 2hr before bed, use red/amber 4. book in hand 10 min before sleep 5. go to bed same time every night 6. light in eyes when waking (sun or 10k lux) 7. walk for 10 min immediately following eating 8. daily exercise (even if for 20 min) 9. eat good stuff, ditch the junk 10. foster friends, family and love They read as simple. I promise they'll change your life. Make them non-negotiate life habits. Do them every_single_day. Once you establish the habits, it is very easy to maintain. Stick with it for two weeks and start getting the dividends.

The attacks on Europe I've seen here the last couple of days, including from people I've generally considered interesting and sophisticated, have been getting unhinged... I get that EU has problems - GDPR clickthroughs are dumb, Chat Control is awful, they need to be less bureaucratic and supportive toward entrepreneurs, its kindness toward Ukraine often doesn't extend well to Gaza or Sudan or other places, people saying mean things about criminals getting longer sentences than the criminals is just crazy - but the apocalyptic attitude about the issues, evoking imagery of barbarians pillaging Rome etc, seems really over the top. It feels more like a coordinated attempt to delegitimize than constructive criticism. (I don't believe the line that "the target is not Europe, it's the EU": I've seen many instances of London specifically being targeted in the hate session, so no, much of it is an attack on Europe) It just does not match my experience from spending an average of two months every year there for the last decade.
