Check out my interview with @bryangillette on the @43FeetPodcast... We discuss what it takes to be an EPIC Performer and more... @F3Nation podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…
Often the journey to uncovering Personal Purpose starts with what I call the Catalytic Event. Could be anything from health change, to job loss, or even a major promotion. It usually causes us to ask "Is this it?" Lean in. The magic is just beginning.
It's been attributed to others, but @realJoeDeSena is the one I saw tweet it, so... The point? It's extremely difficult to get out of our own way. Once I admitted to myself and then took the first step toward Personal Purpose, it changed literally everything.
It's so cliché. "Live every day like your last!" But if we really take a minute (or ten) and deeply contemplate how little control we actually have over things, and how death is inevitable, then we start to notice how important Personal Purpose becomes.

A leader who is not connected to their Personal Purpose will have a terrible time connecting those they are supposed to lead to the Purpose and Mission of the Organization. This is one reason why we have so many people that HATE their jobs.

Whatever it is the World makes you think you should do, try the opposite. See what happens... you might be surprised. A lot of #VirtuousLeadership is countercultural... #Disruption #SwimUpstream

Don’t ever say, “I’m not needed,” or, “I’m not important.” Everyone you meet needs a smile and some loving words.

There are no "tricks" or "hacks" that will make you a great leader. As a wise man said to me (more than) once, "The only thing that works, is work." Someone you know needs help in their organization or their personal lives with practicing great leadership.

No one becomes a good leader by accident. You can't slip and fall and be a #VirtuousLeader. You must practice #Preparedness as well as #Reinforcement through #Accountability. linkedin.com/posts/frankschw… @F3Nation @leadwithvirtue @Leadershipfreak
