A drive North today to try to see White faced darter.
Seen, but the weather was less than ideal with overcast conditions and very windy.

Goshawks are spreading across Wiltshire. Our ringing group has ringed 11 nestlings this year including this lovely brood of 4. The main prey items are young Rooks and Jackdaws which has pleased the various landowners!

A very windy visit to Gronant Dunes on Sunday was full of little terns, official count being ~250 adults. A few ringed plovers and oystercatchers on nests with them. @RSPBCymru @North_Wales_WT @GronantTerns

Had the all clear to share details. I photographed this male at Woolbeding in 24, close enough to read it's ring (code AT). This bird broke the age record for a UK HB, previously 12yo, this male was 18yo in 2024! Hopefully someone can get a photo this season to show he's returned
