I admit I shed tear or two listening to @AGavrielatos, @pruecar and @JasonClareMP speak to NSWTF principals today about moving forward together for our students in public education - commitment to 100% SRS - fair funding. A privilege to have been in the room where it happened.
Thank you @NSWSLI for a wonderful day!!!! My team has given me permission to tweet them! I’m truly humbled by their honesty & reflections. What outstanding learning for them and me. #MLDP@JulieTorney@cam_jones_88@UOW
Exciting step this morning as we launched our new Middle Leadership Development Program. Our first seminar will cover identity, belonging, middle leadership and research. A huge welcome to 217 leaders and 53 facilitators who will be on this learning journey with us #MLDP

Deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of @mkitteringham. An extraordinary educator, an inspiring leader and a wonderful man. Our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues and all those at @SJBHS3 who will be feeling such a terrible loss.
John Howard is robocalling Hughes (curious, when the Liberal candidate called him “out of touch” when he was Prime Minister) and the LNP is spilling pork all over the place down here. Millions.
PANICKED is a word that comes to mind.
I shall press on, then. It’s working.
It was an honour to be on that stage with such amazing women @UNSW
And an absolute pleasure to meet Georgia Steele face to face. What a truly great representative Georgia would be for the people of Hughes. Sensible, smart, brilliant. Hughes deserves @steele4hughes 👏👏👏
This is my "unimpressed" face - it's what happens when I'm asked to do a 21st century job in post-war working conditions. Thanks to @TheTodayShow for having me in the studio. #MoreThanThanks
Dave Sharma's how to vote cards ask voters to preference him first, and Clive Palmer's candidate second. This is what it means to be a moderate Liberal: supporting the science-denying Clive Palmer as he looks to open what would be Australia's largest coal mine.
It’s never too early for @LilaMularczyk & I to get ready for the @TeachersFed rally. See you tomorrow at Macquarie Street. We’ll be too loud to ignore #MoreThanThanks
Libs must be running scared of the Independent Georgia Steele in Sydney seat of Hughes (currently held by Lib turncoat Craig Kelly). They’re preferencing Labor (!) head of her. #ausvotes

Play of the week to Georgia Steele for this snap with the Engadine poomoji creator @danilic and his iconic landmark! We're jealous! Well played, Georgia, well played. Bonus points for cool famous people (ie not Josh Frydenberg) #HughesVotes#AusVotes22#auspoll2022

A year ago, a non-academic friend listened to a talk I gave. I thought it went great. My friend disagreed.
She said that academics are experts at making interesting stuff boring—and that we should all take a speech class.
So I did. And here are 6 most useful things I learned.
#Tolkien and #Orwell appear to have little in common, as men or writers, other than being peculiarly English authors with evergreen book sales. On closer examination, this is not the case. There's some interesting parallels. #LOTR#NineteenEightyFourdarcymoore.net/2022/03/19/on…
