To everyone so eager to cancel someone for a tattoo they got at age 22, a drunk text, a selfie they took in the middle of a mental health crisis: Show us your laptop. Show us your iCloud. Open your entire digital life to your worst enemy. No context. No filter. No explanation. You won’t. You won’t because you know what I know. Any one of us, frozen at our worst moment, photographed in our lowest hour, looks like a monster. Looks like a stranger. Looks like someone who deserves to be cast out. That is not who we are. My mom and baby sister were killed in a car accident when I was just a kid. Cancer took my brother Beau, my best friend and my rock. I battled alcoholism. I battled addiction. I chose the coward’s way out more times than I can count. For years I believed the defining chapters of my life were written by tragedy, loss, and shame. I no longer believe that. Pain can shape us. Loss can humble us. Failures can leave scars that never fully fade. But none of them have the authority to define us. And it sure as hell ain’t the critic that counts. That authority belongs to us alone-the person in the arena. Every setback presents a choice. Play the victim, or cut the bullshit and take ownership for who we become next. Life does not determine our character. It reveals it. Again and again we are asked the same question. When shit happens, what next? We are not defined by what happened to us. We are not defined by the worst photo, the worst text, the worst tattoo, the worst night. We are defined by the person we choose to become. And by the courage to choose that person, every single day. So before you reach for the gavel - show us your laptop. You won’t. The whole world saw mine. And I am still here. Still becoming. Still choosing. Still standing. That is the only definition that matters.

I really don’t understand true greed. If I was worth $1 trillion, you’d have to physically stop me from solving as many of the world’s problems as possible. Everyone would have a home, food on the table, proper healthcare, happiness. I just don’t get it.

🚨BREAKING: A U.S. citizen in, Vancouver, WA, was pulled over by FIVE police cars for legally observing and documenting ICE agents… then had to explain the Constitution to the officers detaining him… And it was all caught on video. In the video, an ICE agent didn’t like being watched, called local police… Then suddenly, the U.S. citizen, exercising his constitutional rights, was surrounded by FIVE cop cars. And most ridiculous part? The officers who claimed “reasonable suspicion” for detaining the U.S. citizen, could not even answer this simple question… Is it legal to observe and record law enforcement? After refusing to answer, and arguing about the First Amendment for several minutes, the officer finally admitted… Yes. It is legal to observe and record law enforcement. So, if it’s a legally protected activity… then why was this U.S. citizen detained? Federal courts, across the country, have repeatedly recognized that the First Amendment protects the right to record and observe government officials… including law enforcement performing their duties in public… as long as you aren’t interfering with them. That means, local police, and ICE agents, don’t get to decide when that right applies… They don’t get to ignore the Constitution because they’re uncomfortable with public oversight. But this isn’t the only incident. Across America, we’re watching local law enforcement work alongside ICE, while ordinary citizens, journalists, and legal observers are being questioned, detained, and intimidated for exercising their constitutional rights. And the fact that a U.S. citizen had to educate the officers, who were detaining HIM, about the Constitution… should outrage every single person. Because if the people enforcing the law don’t understand the constitutional rights they’re sworn to protect… That puts every American in danger.

After the medical test results appeared, it became clear that our daughter is suffering from acute gastroenteritis, which has caused her severe health complications that affected her condition and require urgent treatment and follow-up. The doctor prescribed a set of necessary treatments for her condition, including: - Oral rehydration solution (rehydration). - Acamol for pain relief. - Adol drops (contains Vitamin D). - Flagyl. - Adol suppositories to reduce fever. We urgently need $500 so that we can provide all the medications she critically needs at this stage, in addition to securing some healthy food rich in vitamins and proteins to support her recovery and help her regain her strength. My friends, our daughter needs your help today. You are our only hope in these difficult circumstances so that she can receive the necessary treatment and recover completely. We kindly ask you to donate and share, as every contribution, no matter how small, can make a big difference in her treatment and help ease her suffering. Please donate and share.🥹🙏 chuffed.org/project/help-hai…
My daughter Tamam is going through a very difficult time. She is still undergoing numerous medical and laboratory tests to determine the cause of her ongoing suffering and pain. She currently has a high fever and vomits everything she eats or drinks. She also has severe diarrhea, which causes her to cry all day from the intense pain and constant suffering. Please pray for my daughter.🥹🙏

This year the Home Office moved to stop expert sheep shearers from Australia and New Zealand coming to shear British sheep. The people who keep the animals comfortable were declared surplus to requirements. For over a decade, around 75 of the best shearers on earth have flown in each spring on a simple visa concession. In a few brutal weeks they take the wool off up to two million sheep. A top shearer clears a ewe in two or three minutes. Hundreds a day. Calm hands, no panic in the animal. It is a global trade and a young body's game, and Britain has never grown enough of its own. The official line? Fourteen years to train Britons, so the door is closing. Here is what that tidy sentence ignores. A sheep must be shorn every year or she overheats, cannot move properly, and gets eaten alive by flies and maggots. Shearing on time is welfare, plain and simple, written into law and into the animal's own skin. So a government that lectures farmers without pause about welfare has quietly made the most basic welfare task harder to carry out. After the outcry they allowed one "final" year. Then the experts are gone for good. A sector already losing money on every fleece, already burning wool it cannot sell, now told it cannot even get the people in to take the wool off. You could be forgiven for thinking somebody wants the British sheep gone.

Putin: NATO started the war. It wasn't Russia who started the special military operation. His lies are getting more and more delusional. "Russia is standing alone against the entire collective West, represented by the well-known North Atlantic bloc - NATO. All NATO countries are intensifying their efforts and doing everything possible to organize these hostile actions against Russia and, as they believe, bring the war they unleashed against Russia to a victorious conclusion. It was they who started this war. It wasn't us who launched the hostilities at the beginning of the 'special military operation'."

We have stated, repeatedly, on the record, that Margot is a colleague. A visiting professional. A fellow surveyor of boundaries who shares Keith's exact line of work and nothing more. We wish to issue a correction. We were under-reporting. The evidence has become difficult to file under "colleagues," and in the interest of accuracy, here it is. Keith comes off the barn roof for her in record time, and the record keeps falling. Four minutes on the first visit, which had only ever matched the insurance assessor. Then three forty. Then three twelve. Dave has been timing it, and has stopped pretending he is timing the lichen. He opens the yard gate for her, deliberately, then stands back and waits, which he has done for no other living creature alive. He also closes it behind her, which is the part Dave cannot get over. He let her find the flex in the corner post. Fourteen months Keith walked that boundary and missed a four-millimetre fault. Margot found it in forty-eight hours, and Keith stood beside her and let himself be out-surveyed without complaint, which, for the most ungovernable animal in Devon, is roughly a sonnet. He also showed her the barn roof route a second time. She had climbed it in under a minute on the Tuesday. He showed her again anyway. No reason has been offered. And when she leaves, he stands on the south bank looking down the empty lane for exactly four minutes, then goes back to the knotweed until the next trailer. We have called this a working relationship. We have, frankly, been protecting their privacy and our own composure. Keith needs no one, and proved it by opening the last gate only to walk back through. Of all the things a free creature could choose, he has chosen the goat who out-surveyed him. The cousin is bringing her back in May. The colleagues were never only colleagues. We regret the error. We do not, on reflection, regret it very much.

I had a massive American cockroach slide into my apartment last night and casually crawl across my kitchen wall. I got some raid and gave it a little spray when it decided to spread its wings like a massive gargoyle from Hell and FLEW AT ME. It fluttered and bounced off my chest before I spiked it right out of the air and it scurried under my fridge. I went to move the fridge thinking it has to be dead and when I moved it THERE WAS NOTHING. LIKE IT MATERIALIZED OUT OF THIN AIR. GONE! You can imagine my real time reaction and how I've lost sleep over this 😂
Non natives yall irritate the heck outta me calling every roach a Palmetto bug. This stinky thing is the proper bug.

My American friends. You don’t know this, because only the #smokefleet™ crew is aware, but there’s a secret force gathering internationally, preparing to help you stand against the Russians who’ve convinced a third of your people to become zombie sheep in red hats. Seriously, now that we’re in the hidden part of the post: reach out to Canada and the rest of NATO, perhaps Japan, surely South Korea, arguing that your government has been usurped and sending a global Mayday call. We’ll come, but you have to ask. If I set foot in your country with the things I say here, they’d throw me in jail. But if you split the country and invite us in, we’ll run to help! Think this is some delusion? No—after studying and teaching the rise of nationalism in the Western world for 30 years, I can tell you all the pieces are in place to avoid the next election, and the Supreme Court will be ready to reject the results if Trump doesn’t win, despite all the cheating they do. I'm sorry to tell you that somber days are headed to us all before better days for the common man come back.
