Most proponents of Gender Affirming Care (e.g., @ScienceBasedMed ) are not evil people. They are good people who mistakenly believe transitioning teenagers to the opposite sex will help their dysphoria. They are mistaken. So the deepest cause of this medical malpractice is not ideology but factual error; they're not immoral so much as mistaken. It will go down in history as the equivalent of medieval witch hunts in which inquisitors believed they were saving peoples' souls by burning them to death. Witch hunters were wrong. Gender Affirming Care proponents are wrong. Course correct now and stop destroying the lives of minors, and especially end this assault on women's rights to sports and spaces by enabling men to believe they are women.
