An analysis of over 6,000 athletes found distinct differences between those who made it to world-class versus those who didn't progress from child star.
Similar research has been done on one-hit wonders and Nobel Laureates.

Highly recommend this new preprint by Briker & @FabiolaGerpott 👇 They surveyed 86 authors of Registered Reports to extract myths & misconceptions & they provide a list of best practices. The result is an expert-driven 'how-to' guide that should be useful across fields
