Procedural Caustic Noise Shader/Math: π«§

Smooth Voronoi can be used to generate convincing procedural caustics. Noise gradients can dilate the sample position to resemble anything from foam, to webs, etc.

Messing around with 3D glass refraction, a glowing gas giant planet and its Cassini-divided particle rings, sealed inside a refractive glass capsule. Loving how the thin-film iridescence shifts on camera rotation.
