As a disabled adult who has made The majority of my lasting friendship connections through social media, it has been a really important way for me too get to know new people, many of whom I now couldn't imagine not having in my life. The blanket ban come with the risk of preventing disabled kids from being able to make similar online connections at a time when the off-line world is already alone and inaccessible place for many.
