Took down the one down that would have hit the house if the other trees didn’t catch it. I think it’s time to retire these Northwoods jeans. They catch all the sawdust, goes right into my boot.

Drove up in this yesterday. At one point I was the only one on the hwy as everyone got off in Wausau which is where the tornado warnings were. I kept going at 50 mph, couldn’t see shit, thought the high winds were going to blow the Suburban off the road. I’m up at the cabin today, I have office stuff to do, but son and I intend on fishing after hours. Time on the water has been cut a little short as I have two trees down that need to be cut up. One fell 5’ from the west side of the house. Mosquitoes are brutal after the heavy rains. Haven’t been up since last November, driveway looks like a mess with grass growing through and lots of smaller trees down. The work on a small cabin in the woods is never ending. Between the office and the chainsaw, I’m going to be earning those lake beers this weekend.
