Hey @WorldBollard have you seen this? Actual cannon bollards in the City of London! I mean, we knew they were there, but great to have photos! Bollardollogy (the book onCoL bollards shop.cityoflondon.gov.uk/pro… ) has these as captured French cannons

Some actual holes in the ground today. This will be the kerb bump out rain garden. It will be nice to have a larger outdoor space by the pub!

Replacement playground for St Jude St Gardens finally underway. The old equipment was quite dated, so this will be a nice upgrade!

Amazing rugby tonight. Both games were well played. I was fortunate to see last weeks AUS ENG game as well, which was an insane ending. No points for guessing where my wife comes from (the kids were not given a choice)

These are great, but I’m struggling to understand why only one has a Santander bike station. Why have @TfL and the boroughs completely given up on expansion of the system? The private shared bikes are fine, but massively overpriced compared to the TfL bikes.
We're proposing 6 new Green Mobility Hubs in Kentish Town. Places for you to easily access greener ways to travel like hire bikes/scooters & car clubs plus areas of plants all in one place🌻 Find out more on what we are proposing and have your say at camden.gov.uk/consultation

Islington just released revised drawings for the new cycle crossing at Newington Green. A few slight tweaks from the plan at consultation. Overall looks good! Construction starts Nov 18.

This is awesome! I love the new public space made out of what is currently a sea of asphalt. Fun fact, St John St is so wide there because there used to be a courthouse in the middle of the road. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hick….
🗣️ Have your say on the future of St John Street! Today we’re launching a consultation to hear from local people and businesses on our plans to transform this historic area. Consultation open until 15 Dec!

London needs to pull its finger out and do this for the congestion zone with a pedestrianised centre area in SoHo / Covent Garden.
🏙️ The City Centre Movement and Access Tranche 2 consultation is now live, until Mon 18 Nov. As we transform the city centre into an attractive place to live, work, visit, and do business, it is essential that we free up space previously allocated to private vehicles🚗 1/2

These Shaftbury Ave plans looking pretty good. Segregated lanes and Dutch entry kerbs. Hopefully Westminster will pull their finger out and do something on their end. consultations.wearecamden.or…

Eager to see this implemented! Thanks to Islington for the intensive public engagement. Obviously excited about the the traffic filtering, but I really think the safety improvements at the pedestrian crossings around Newington Green will be a huge game changer.
We’ve spent two years listening to the community in Mildmay to understand the changes they want to see – and we’re acting on what you’ve told us! The area is now becoming Islington’s first liveable neighbourhood, making it greener and healthier. Find out more ⬇️ (1/3)

First look at some of the Mildmay LN proposed changes. There is currently an excess of asphalt at this junction, rain gardens and ad hoc play area a much better use of public space!
