The @MakerDeck meetup is tomorrow at 6pm at Formula Brewing in Issaquah. Bring your prints, swap notes on what you're working on, and meet some other makers. All ages and experience levels welcome — whether you've got a print farm running or just unboxed your first printer. RSVP link in link below, hope to see you there.

Apple's watchOS 27 cuts off everything older than the Series 10 — so Series 9, Ultra 1, even the SE 2 are done. A watch from 2023 is obsolete. Meanwhile iOS 27 still happily runs on the iPhone 11. A phone from 2019.
I get that the new Siri AI needs newer silicon, but "your two-year-old watch is too old, your six-year-old phone is fine" is a tough pitch.

As Elon tweets about transparency, developers and users of @tweetbot, @Twitterrific, and @echofon sit waiting 24 hours later with no word from @Twitter as to why APIs allowing third party apps stopped working.
So much for transparency.
I will admit that I haven't watched New Year's at the needle in years. But the production is terrible. They had a band that sounded pre-recorded, and you couldn't even hear the vocals. #nyeseattle
Legitimately the worst Twitter change is that now, there's always a promoted tweet at the top of the feed when you open the app. Literally disincentivizes scrolling and actually using the app, that's why nobody else shows an ad right at the jump
I don't know what happened to @Twitter Ads, but over the last week, I have kept seeing the same two ads at the top of my timeline.
It's a big turn-off.
