I'm tempted to caption this first picture "centering the patriarchy" since you all deliberately put me front and center for comedic effect. As the second photo indicates, I'm not the *only* "boy" who studies victimhood :) Thanks for a great workshop @j_golubovic & @YessinkaH!!!

Check out our new, vaguely hopeful, article on partisanship and vaccines - we found, to our surprise, that the same messages promoting vaccines can appeal to both liberals and conservatives!
Our #FirstView articles are free to read until the end of 2022 - ow.ly/E2mw50LXvkN With papers by @a_rasmussen, @stefanie_reher, @mattysimonson, @jennifer_lin16, @MauSantillana, @LawProfPuig, @royperlis, @LLeipziger & more

In a newly released Perspectives on Politics article, Matt Lacombe, Jon Green, Jamie Druckman, and I find that people who bought guns during the pandemic tended to be more politically extreme than prior gun owners and were motivated more by fear than by hobbies. Details below:
" #Gun #ownership... often signifies a belief about the inadequacy of state-provided #security..." #SOCIAL #DISRUPTION, #GUN #BUYING, & #ANTI- #SYSTEM #BELIEFS By @M_J_Lacombe, @mattysimonson, @_Jon_Green & James N. Druckman buff.ly/3VAmpEQ #FirstView

Students at elite schools get this info from their advisors. As a foreigner at a state school, and a first gen college student, I never received this guidance. Think of these advice posts as trying to level the playing field. Please spread them around or add your advice here.

Thank you to whatever political junkies complied this Wikipedia page of historical elections that resulted in ties. Too few of them to do an academic study, but some great stories behind them! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o…
