First, on the topic of cannabis reform, you absolutely should prioritize business interests. It's the free market that serve patients and everyday Americans. Leading with business interests is what allows for and creates the environment for all other social justice crusades. Leading with business solves for the social issues. Leading with social issues, creates chaos in the market. Second, federal reform to address the harms from the war on drugs is a separate topic from the business of cannabis. They're not mutually exclusive. When activists tether these issues together, it's because they're not as interested in the social justice issue as much as they're interested in who gets to financially profit off of cannabis reform. All you have to do is look at any social equity program. @RepNancyMace
