Did all three of these last week without realizing I was doing them. Shipped more in 4 days than the two weeks before. The cheap fixes keep winning in 2026. Still in disbelief. x.com/podwistapp/status/2066…

3 focus habits research keeps confirming: 1. One screen during deep work (Wilson, King's College) 2. 90-minute work blocks (Ericsson, 1993) 3. A short walk between tasks (Stanford, 2014) No app required. Pick one. Try it tomorrow. #focus #deepwork #productivity

For solo founders and small teams. Quick one. What is the piece of infra you keep dragging back to local hosting after trying cloud? Mine is Postgres. Every single time. The latency cost is invisible until you are debugging at 1am 😬 #buildinpublic #indiehackers #devlife

Worth reading it
Stop treating Claude Code like ChatGPT. I built it a second brain in Obsidian. If you are running solo and tired of re-explaining your project to your AI every morning, this one is for you. šŸ‘‡ medium.com/p/stop-treating-c… #ClaudeCode #Obsidian #SecondBrain #SoloFounder #AI

Moved my content vault out of Notion and into Obsidian this month. Just a folder of markdown files now. Vault opens in 8ms instead of 800. Search is grep. Backup is git. Notion stays alive for my Claude routines. Different jobs, different tools šŸ˜‰ I am the only user of this stack. I made the call for me. Worth it. #buildinpublic #devtools #obsidian

Small confession. I have rewritten the same scheduling tool 4 times this year. Every time I told myself this version stays. The v5 idea showed up this morning. Uninvited. Shipping v4 first this time. Promised. šŸ¤ž

Monday standup with myself, building my project in the open 😊 āœ… Last week: the marketing dashboard finally reads straight from the local markdown vault, no DB, no API gymnastics. 🧱 The thing slowing me down: self-hosting the scheduler keeps fighting back and the image host eats every other upload šŸ˜… working on it. šŸŽÆ This week: pushing marketing on every channel AND shipping the next version of the app with the local agents team šŸ˜‰ two ships, one week. What is the small thing you want shipped by Friday? #buildinpublic #indiehackers #founder

I keep a sticky note above my desk that just says "one curious thing." Some weeks that is the only plan I follow. If you needed permission to start small this Monday, here it is. x.com/podwistapp/status/2066…

You do not need a 5am alarm, a productivity stack, or a new course to grow this week. One curious question. One small Monday answer. That is how Tuesdays start getting interesting. The shortest path to learning is staying interested for one more day. #mondaymotivation #curious #learning

Tried this morning at 7am. Beat the fish. Code shipped before the coffee finished brewing. Borrowing this rule for the rest of the week. x.com/podwistapp/status/2066…

Fun fact for Monday: The average human attention span is 8.25 seconds.šŸ˜µā€šŸ’« A goldfish? 9 seconds. 🐠 The fish is winning. One small upgrade: pick one task, set a 25-minute timer, beat the fish. #funfact #attention #focus

Forgot the WebSocket reconnect logic. Found out when my own dashboard told me my agents had been idle for 3 hours. The agents were fine. The dashboard was lying confidently šŸ˜… 2026 lesson. Trust your code. Verify your UI. #buildinpublic #indiehackers #devlife

Audited my subscriptions on Monday. I was paying $120 a month to run a project that makes $25. The math gets better next month, or the tools get cut.

Closed the laptop for 40 minutes. Best deploy of the week. Came back with a half-finished podcast and the answer was right there. x.com/podwistapp/status/2066…

The best AI tool this weekend is the one you never noticed using. No prompts, no dashboard, no onboarding. Press play, go outside. šŸŽ§

My first ten customers all came from one conversation in a Discord. Not a launch, not a campaign, not a viral thread. Early customers usually live in the rooms you already hang out in.

Sunday walk observation: passed the same park bench three times and finally understood the bug I shipped on Wednesday. The fix was one line. The walk was 40 minutes. The best IDE I own has no screen.

12 new signups this week. No ad spend, no launch tweet, no big push. Just three small fixes shipped quietly between Monday and Thursday. Slow weeks add up faster than I expect.

Old me: Sunday night planning session, color coded. Current me: walk, podcast, sleep. Monday performance is embarrassingly similar. x.com/podwistapp/status/2066…

The old Sunday evening checklist: inbox zero, tabs closed, week planned. The better one: one walk, one good listen, lights out early. The week starts better when Sunday isn't a second job.

Counted mine: 4 AI assistants, 3 note apps, 2 read-later queues. One half-finished article from May. Closing tabs is the new shipping. x.com/podwistapp/status/2066…

Sunday tool audit: – 3 note apps, all half empty – 2 read-later queues, both overflowing – 4 AI assistants, each needing assistance Maybe the upgrade isn't another tool. Maybe it's one quiet hour with the stuff you already saved.

MRR went from $12 to $25 this month. I told my partner over dinner like I had just closed a Series A. He asked if it covered groceries. It did not.

Said no to four feature requests this week. Two users were annoyed. The other two said "good, please stay focused." I am still thinking about the two who were annoyed.
