This is Heather’s best friend E. I don’t know how else to say this, but H passed away earlier this morning. More to come from me eventually.

OCaml is insane because it appears to be one of the most legitimately pragmatic languages with the potential to gigafry your brain but is exclusively pushed by literally some of the friendliest developers who unironically want to like "write better software" and basically get oneshotted by it literally the most cracked people in existence having their brains rearranged by some programming language 6D demon who makes them zone out during their boring day job, use algebraic effects, and become an OCaml framework author or whatever

As a disabled law professor who has benefited from accommodations, I vehemently reject this article's claims. The rise in accommodations isn't fraud—it's progress. It means more disabled students are accessing higher education. This is cause for celebration, not suspicion. (1/5)
My latest about disability accommodations in higher ed for @chronicle @ChronicleReview. It's a very controversial topic, to say the least, and inspires strong opinions. I hope this will help shift the conversation in a productive direction: chronicle.com/article/do-col…

Recovering from incidents, doing migrations, and learning are the three critical team/organizational skills.
Reminder about the importance of getting good at recovering from incidents: 1. You can’t prevent all incidents from occurring. 2. You must recover from all of the incidents that occur.
