Fantastic to be at the packed launch of the Asian Resource Centre for Communities community base in the former Broad Green Library. This reflects my vision for libraries and community bases - run by the community, for the community, and places people are proud to call home. Importantly, this is still a library, now alongside amazing additional facilities including learning space, digital access, health and wellbeing activities, and room for community events. What was once a library open just two days a week is now a community base open six days a week, bringing this much-loved building back to life at the heart of Broad Green and making it work for everyone. @ARCCLTD
