You can now pin a dock of your recently opened Mac apps right on your desk and switch between them with a single tap when using Mac Virtual Display on Vision Pro. It updates automatically so you always have a direct shortcut to the apps you’re currently working with. You can even pin your favourites to the front of the line to create your perfect setup. It‘s called App Time Travel, and it's one of the headline features in the big new choclift for Vision Pro update, available today.

Input remapping is really cool, you can play Porta Nubi even when laying down ⛅️ If you haven’t played for a while, it’s time to give it another try 🧩 The accessibility update is available now! Now I can take a break and WWDC decides what I will do next 👨‍💻

At the last few (visionOS) meetups I always recommend to sign up for the one on one labs during WWDC. They really read through your request and connect you with the most fitting people from Apple. They helped me a lot and you can sign up now. developer.apple.com/wwdc26/s…

Using gestures on your iPhone to copy, paste, and control apps on your Mac is pure ecosystem magic. My free app lets you switch between your favorite Mac apps with just a touch, minimize and maximize them with a swipe, and even use a grab-and-throw gesture to copy and paste. choclift is now available with a big update on the App Store for iOS and macOS.

A sweet new app called Choclift is now available for Apple Vision Pro. It connects to your Mac and places your favorite apps on a floating chocolate bar in your space. Tap to open. Swipe to minimize. Pin it to your desk.

Release day 🚀 Excited to share a new visionOS app I’ve been working on 🙌 It shows an innovative way to connect Apple Vision Pro with other Apple platforms 💡 Joining forces was a great call - Phil’s spatial design expertise my visionOS experience led to a great product 🤝
My new Vision Pro app lets you switch between apps on your Mac… just by touching your desk. Bringing choclift to visionOS changed how I think about using a Mac in spatial computing. It’s not just about having a massive display – it opens up entirely new productivity workflows. Best part: if you lock it to your desk, it’s always there when you use Mac Virtual Display – even after restarting the device.

Fun fact: This blog post sparked the idea of how the Level Selection in Port Nubi looks today 🧩 If you develop for visionOS make sure to follow @vrhermit and @stepintovision to get some great inspirations! 💡
Portals in 3D are cool, but in XR they feel like magic. Apple shipped a first party PortalComponent in RealityKit. In Lab 037 we walk through the basic setup to render a scene in a portal attached to a window. stepinto.vision/labs/lab-037…

I just launched a free App that lets you open Mac Apps…from your iPhone. And close them with a swipe. A much faster drag and drop. And a ton of more features in the pipeline. It’s called choclift and you really should try it out. Available for free in the App Store for iOS and macOS.
