16-year-old Declan Cutler from Mernda, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia, was chased by a Sudanese youth gang before being stabbed 56 times and suffering 66 blunt-force injuries in a fatal 2022 attack.
One of the attackers, who was 13 at the time, was later acquitted because the court found there was a reasonable possibility he did not understand his actions were seriously wrong in a moral sense under the doctrine of doli incapax.
Three years later, the same teenager, whose identity remains protected by Australian law, was charged over an aggravated home invasion in Gladstone Park in which a 60-year-old man was stabbed multiple times, shot in the arm, and repeatedly struck with a hammer.

Also note that if there's any success to this social media ban, hundreds of thousands of teenagers will have friends, people they might have known for years... suddenly vanish out of their lives. They may not have alternate means of contact, or their friends will move on with their lives in their social media circles without switching platforms to accommodate the teen.
We're going to be throwing tons and tons of teenagers into mourning for the loss of those friendships, and at the same time we're going to be blowing up their social circles for resilience and their coping strategies.
This will literally kill.
Children will die for this.

I sent this letter to the Editor-in-Chief of Toxicology Reports demanding a full explanation for the removal of a published article examining vaccines and sudden infant death.
Americans have a right to know why scientific papers are removed, who made those decisions, what evidence supported them, and whether the same standards are applied consistently.
We will restore trust in public health by insisting on transparency, accountability, and open scientific inquiry—not by asking the public to accept decisions behind closed doors.
