Today is a big day for us, probably the most important moment since we started Activate. I'm excited to announce that @soaibgrewal has joined @177pc & me as Partner & Head of Ecosystem.
Ironically, Soaib and I first met at an ecosystem event he was running in 2014. After that, he was part of the team at Times Internet that invested in Haptik. Then when he started his company Plaza, I was the amongst the first angel checks. After Plaza, he came back to India and joined us at peercheque, the investment syndicate I founded in 2022.
Our mission is to "activate" the AI ecosystem in India, a platform around which the best AI founders can build iconic companies. I couldn't think of anyone better than Soaib to run these platform initiatives for us, along with of course supporting all investment efforts and company building from Day 0.
