Despite dozens of emails and phone calls, Malta ignored a sinking, overcrowded boat with 400 migrants, including pregnant women and children who begged for rescue.
Little did they know Malta had instructed nearby ships to not attempt any rescue.

Taiwan said the pagers that blew up in Lebanon were not made domestically. Gold Apollo said it had licensed manufacturing to BAC Consulting in Hungary who take care of "specific regions."
It's still unclear those regions included Lebanon.
