Off to Vegas… reminding me of all the things I hate about flying: 1.Armrests so sharp they double as medieval weaponry. 2.One bag drop agent valiantly battling a line of 300 people (bless them, but come on). 3.Seats designed for hobbits. 4.Paying extra for legroom and still feeling like I’m in a sardine can. 5.The “Are we there yet?” energy of layovers longer than my actual flight. 6.That one passenger who insists on reclining into my lap. 7.Mysterious “equipment issues” that somehow always get resolved an hour later. 8.Boarding groups that feel like a Hunger Games selection process. 9.Wi-Fi (if it works at all) so slow it’s basically 300 baud Morse code. 11.Overhead bins that seem to shrink every time I fly. 12.The incredible shrinking bathroom. 13. Tetris-esque process to make my backpack fit under the seat.
