In South Africa, the ANC are smoke-screening all their rampant theft and fraud by claiming to "improve" small little 'fokkol-villages' and settlements in the middle of nowhere because nobody will ever actually go there to check whether the works was ever done, and the people who live in those areas are none the wiser.
It would be much better for the economy if money was visibly spent on fixing the rail system, harbor-backlogs, fixing potholes, water infrastructure etc; Y'know...the things that actually *drive economies* as opposed to pleasing some self-imposed "King" somewhere who has never paid a cent of tax in his life.
This is how the ANC roll; they "say" they're doing things to help, but in reality they're just locusting the money into their own pockets and there is zero actual accountability.
Nothing new to see here.....
